WT2 Consulting was founded by Dr. Willie Charles Thomas II, whose journey from a reading tutor in underserved communities to a doctoral-level innovation architect embodies the transformative power of education and strategic thinking. Beginning his career at Father Keith B. Kenny Elementary in Oak Park in 1994, Dr. Thomas has dedicated over three decades to serving diverse populations, always seeking to expand his impact on students, educators, and organizations.

From classroom teacher to summer school principal, from assistant principal to founding principal of an aerospace-themed charter school, Dr. Thomas's career reflects a relentless commitment to innovation in education. His path took him through multiple districts, managing programs with dozens of direct reports, overseeing enrichment programs for hundreds of students daily, and eventually earning both an MBA and a Doctorate in Educational Innovation—all while never losing sight of the students who inspired his work.

Today, Dr. Thomas stands at the intersection of administrative excellence and human-centered design, bringing a unique blend of on-the-ground educational experience, business acumen, and doctoral-level research expertise to every engagement.
